Job Description: Instructor
The primary job of instructor is to lead their students by demonstration and participation in an exotic dance workout routine. The routine involves extensive stretching, isometric and strength building exercises and includes teaching students to do learn to dance using poles. The objective is to create a desirable experience for the women that keeps them coming back week after week.
This is a start up business, run by owners with years of business experience that have aggressive, but realistic plans to grow the business. We are looking for the right person with the skills, personal commitment and energy to participate with us though what we anticipate will be a period of rapid expansion. This person in this position will be well compensated, for their efforts.
Since this is a start up, Initially the job of instructor is not yet full time employment. As the student population increases and more classes are added instructors have the opportunity to increase their hours worked or to limit their jobs to part time at their preference.
Instructors are employees of Studio Reveal.
The successful candidate will:
- Be skilled in various forms of dance and dance instruction
- Be skilled at creating and evolving the studio experience for the students
- Be a fast and eager learner
- Pole dancing skills a plus, but not essential
- Be a good communicator, a patient and inspiring teacher
- Be flexible with their time
- Be a team player with an ability to work with others of strong minds and skills to improve the collective output
- Take an interest in the vision of the company, internalize it and share it with others
- Open to learning from others and sharing
- Have a strong desire to grow personally and financially
- Be of high ethical standards
- Enhance the image of the studio
- Share a track record that provides evidence of these desired skills
